The Boston Shamrock basketball team around 1915

My wife has a photo of her father as a member of the Boston Shamrock Basketball team taken around 1915. Her father passed away many years ago but she remembers him saying that it was later named the Boston Celtics. I can find little information on the web and was hoping someone could enlighten us.
